According to his own TNT Magazine, Rommel Ynion was “assigned to do cab reporting work.” He must have reported about taxis. Ha ha ha. Read the piece below for the complete story of amazing Rommel Ynion.

And to think pathetic editor of TNT Magazine Junep Ocampo (under the orders of former obituary writer Rommel Ynion) wants himself and the newsmagazine to be taken seriously. But how can you when Manuel “Kerida King” Mejorada writes for it?

Anyway, read what editor Junep writes:  “Yet Mr. Ynion wanted us to come up with not just a magazine. He wants us to produce a news magazine similar to time or Newsweek. He wants it initially as a monthly Publication and later, when it finally achieves momentum, to turn into a weekly, just like time or Newsweek. And Mr. Ynion wants it to be a local time or Newsweek, not a national version but as local as our community newspaper The News Today. So here it is, our first issue. It’s still a far cry from our objective of becoming the local time or Newsweek but, hey, everybody has to start somewhere, right?”

WHAT A SAD ATTEMPT AT SERIOUS JOURNALISM. IF THIS IS HOW OCAMPO WRITES, NO WONDER TNT THE NEWSPAPER IS COLLECTING DUST AT THE NEWSSTANDS. “He wants us…He wants it…And Mr. Ynion wants it…” IS THIS ANY WAY TO WRITE FOR A MAGAZINE? Ha ha ha. I dies dies laughing.

And here is an equally pathetic piece of “journalism” from one of their writers with their demi-god Rommel Ynion as the subject of the very sad, unfortunate piece:

Rommel Ynion, mga utang mo ay!

Mafioso Rommel S. Ynion claims he is a tycoon and philanthropist. But where could you find a so-called “multi-millionaire” who has debts in Iloilo City alone amounting to almost P8 million? Let us count Rommel Ynion’s utang that he has left to his Boy Friday Bong Tortola to account for:

• P1.5 million at Home Arts Furniture for furnishings, fittings and fixtures, tables, chairs, etc. for Bali Hotel, his Puerto Real Mansion, etc.
• P3 million at Purewood Marketing for unpaid lumber supplies for Bali Hotel and the Lugawan in Magsaysay Village
• P300,000.00 worth of Filipiniana dresses from former Sen. Nikki Coseteng which Rommel commissioned as “gifts” for “dignitaries”
• P3 million other debts with other “mere mortals” for other stuff.

Adobo Ilonggo’s informant also said that one business had to close because Rommel Ynion did not pay his debts of over P5 million in relation to the many illegal construction he is undertaking. Ti, tycoon ni si Rommel Ynion?

And how was he able to make utang when he is blacklisted with the Credit Management Association of the Philippines (CMAP)? No less than Miriam Odicta, wife of underworld character Boyet Odicta, vouched for him and his “integrity”.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the reason why Rommel Ynion does not want to get out of his house on his current third day of stay in Iloilo City today. Poor guy is afraid of his own shadow. Otro man ka talawit. Para utang gid lang……

 

Rommel Ynion: Clueless contractor, bow!

For someone who trumpets to all what a “legitimate and seasoned contractor” he is, it beggars the imagination why Rommel Ynion does not realize the importance of a building permit and other necessary papers. No contractor, especially of huge infrastructures, would dare construct without a permit, an Environmental Clearance Certificate, and in the case of Bali Hotel which is near the Iloilo River (Arm of the Sea) and Iloilo Strait (that body of water between Iloilo and Guimaras), the appropriate Sewage and Treatment Plant.

People who heard him rant and rave over the radio says Rommel Ynion  claimed he did not bother to get the permits and other licenses “because I helped Jed in the last elections” and that “Wala ako kahibalo nga kinahanglan pa gali ina?”. And so he thinks he can get away with bloody murder just because he helped someone in the last elections and that his ignorance will excuse him?

Aba, this man does not understand that the rule of law transcends friendships with benefits.  And have you heard of a “seasoned contractor” being ignorant about permits? Pang-Ripley’s!!!

Other illegal structures of Rommel Ynion: Iloilo Press Club in Brgy. San Pedro, Molo and the extensions to his mansion in Puerto Real de Iloilo in La Paz and other infras the Ilonggos have not yet discovered.

Conclusion: Rommel Ynion is a first class scumbag and illegalista. Runs in the family.

Manuel Mejorada’s articles confirmed: IPC building has no permit

Now, it can be told, the former thorn-in-the-flesh (now paid media mercenary) of Rommel “Mafioso” Ynion was correct in his investigation that the Iloilo Press Club Building has no permit. Inundated with emails that some members of the media are whining and caterwauling over the slow construction of their beloved IPC Building, Adobo Ilonggo went to Iloilo City Hall to check on accusations about Rommel “Mafioso” Ynion was fooling the media. Oh no, he wasn’t fooling them! He was just being illegal.  Adobo’s research ala Manuel “Tulisan” Mejorada led to many revelations:

The IPC Building has no building permit said Manuel Mejorada

1. The IPC building’s old foundations were demolished without a permit or clearances.

2. The much-touted watering hole of Mafiosos and media mercenaries, Bali Suites, near Fort San Pedro has:

a. No Building Permit

b. No Occupany Permit

c. No Environmental Clearance

d. Has Many Building Code Violations

e. Illegal in many aspects

and worst: has 2 notices for illegal construction from the Iloilo City Engineer’s Office.

And all this was done during the time when Rommel “Mafioso” Ynion was still friends with Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog. Despite reminders about the above, Rommel “Mafioso” Ynion, chose to ignore it, banking on his friendship with the mayor. In other words, he thought he could get away with it because he was friends with Jed. And so, the conclusion is: Rommel “Mafioso” Ynion likes to do things the illegal way. The onus now is on Rommel “Mafioso” Ynion to prove that he has the permits necessary to operate Bali Suites. Masadya ni!
