Once an illegalista, always an illegalista: Rommel Ynion and the road encroachment

Despite the notices of violation for illegal encroachment of almost 2 meters of city road, specifically Duran and Sto. Rosario Streets for his Bali Hotel, master illegalista Mafioso Rommel “Utangero” Ynion still has not done anything about the fence.

He himself  has recognized his illegal construction by issuing an affidavit of undertaking that he had sent to City Hall. Latest news is that his bag boy and favorite Boy Friday Bong Tortola has said they will do something about the encroachment but still, you can’t see anything done. Worse,  Bali Hotel does not have a building permit, renovation permit and other necessary permits. It doesn’t even have an Environmental Compliance Certificate.

And Mafioso Rommel “Utangero” Ynion and his favorite media mercenary Manuel “Boy Tulisan” Mejorada have the gall to call themselves “graftbusters”?

There’s also the story that Mafioso Ynion’s Stavros restaurants have no business permits aside from having no people eating there. And by the book of shrewd businessman, that is “illegal” too.

Wahahaha!

Why P-Noy and BIR should run after Rommel Ynion

Among his intimates (to borrow the words of Manuel “Kerida King” Mejorada, current Dirty PR Man of Rommel Ynion), Iloilo City’s number one rabble-rouser was said to have bragged that Alfonso Cusi and Mike Arroyo have entrusted to him P453 million to be laundered.

Unfortunately, Mafioso Rommel S. Ynion is not a good labandero and those who issue his checks, Edwin Genterola and Bong Tortola, are now griping and complaining that they are juggling funds because their principals are furious that Mafioso Rommel Ynion has already touched the principal amount.

The Arroyos, Al Cusi, Ephraim Genuino and others had a hard time plundering all that money from government coffers during the Arroyo Administration  and here comes this pathetic Rommel Ynion who couldn’t be trusted with laundering half a billion. Haaaaaaaaayyy…. loser!

Rommel Ynion, mga utang mo ay!

Mafioso Rommel S. Ynion claims he is a tycoon and philanthropist. But where could you find a so-called “multi-millionaire” who has debts in Iloilo City alone amounting to almost P8 million? Let us count Rommel Ynion’s utang that he has left to his Boy Friday Bong Tortola to account for:

• P1.5 million at Home Arts Furniture for furnishings, fittings and fixtures, tables, chairs, etc. for Bali Hotel, his Puerto Real Mansion, etc.
• P3 million at Purewood Marketing for unpaid lumber supplies for Bali Hotel and the Lugawan in Magsaysay Village
• P300,000.00 worth of Filipiniana dresses from former Sen. Nikki Coseteng which Rommel commissioned as “gifts” for “dignitaries”
• P3 million other debts with other “mere mortals” for other stuff.

Adobo Ilonggo’s informant also said that one business had to close because Rommel Ynion did not pay his debts of over P5 million in relation to the many illegal construction he is undertaking. Ti, tycoon ni si Rommel Ynion?

And how was he able to make utang when he is blacklisted with the Credit Management Association of the Philippines (CMAP)? No less than Miriam Odicta, wife of underworld character Boyet Odicta, vouched for him and his “integrity”.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the reason why Rommel Ynion does not want to get out of his house on his current third day of stay in Iloilo City today. Poor guy is afraid of his own shadow. Otro man ka talawit. Para utang gid lang……

 

Warning to the US Embassy! Rommel Ynion and partner will attempt to flee

Readers from Manila who have heard of Adobo Ilonggo’s blog wrote Adobo that the Iloilo City government must forewarn the US Embassy that Rommel Ynion, who has a string of estafa cases and main suspect in many illegal ventures including falsification of documents and technical smuggling intends to apply for a US visa for his partner Vanessa Recato and their two children, a boy and a girl. The plan is either for Vanessa and the kids to visit or relocate this year. After all, it is getting too hot in their abode at Poblete St., BF HEVA Alabang, Muntinlupa City where people and banks to whom Rommel Ynion owes money visit him ever so often.

What will he present to the US Embassy? His faked documents? Or the story of how he met Vanessa Recato when he was a “reporter” and employed  her for his water refilling business?

The other means by which Rommel Ynion got his wealth

A former colleague of Rommel Ynion who goes by the nickname J.O. (somebody told Adobo Ilonggo this might be one guy named Junep Ocampo) emailed Adobo Ilonggo this week and said that aside from jueteng and smuggling, Rommel Ynion actually amassed his “wealth” by doing “Black PR”. As he climbed the career ladder of PR, he met certain big businessmen who noticed his talent for lying and penchant for deception. And so, they hired him to destroy the businesses of their competitors that Rommel Ynion did through many nefarious strategies and activities that resulted into the death of the businesses of the competitors.

Ynion’s reputation for this type of Black PR began to grow far and wide that it reached all the way to the camp of master manipulators and liar extraordinaires Mike Arroyo, Ephraim Genuino and Ernest Villareal.  They were extremely pleased with this brash Ilonggo called Rommel Ynion and trusted him with their jueteng operations – all P400 million of it, except that in the current state of things, this Ynion got drunk with his “temporal power” from buying the Iloilo media that he could no longer think straight.

He bribed Iloilo Gov. Arthur Defensor several millions to legalize jueteng in Iloilo province. That didn’t pan out when Board Member Curging Tirador snitched on the arrangements. Ynion tried to get garbage contracts with the Iloilo City government through his bogus Green Zone Corp. until it was discovered that the proposal was grossly disadvantageous to the city and had no track record to get by. And then the Ilonggos wised up and dug up information on him where it was discovered that he is no tycoon, and that his businesses had no permits and that he himself is wanted by the BIR for unexplained wealth.  Ynion’s own evil reputation is catching up on him.

And again, the saddest part is that no one is taking up the cudgels for him. You know your true friends when you are in trouble and they side with you. Adobo Ilonggo wonders where are all the people to who Rommel Ynion gave cars, jewelry and money. Aren‘t they going to take up the cudgels for their “benefactor?” Poor Bong Tortola and Genterola – they are left holding Rommel Ynion’s empty bag of promises.

Adobo Ilonggo wonders why there is no one else taking up the cudgels for Rommel Ynion except for one Manuel “Boy” Mejorada and estafador Daniel “Danny” Fajardo. Even his family does not want to have anything to do with him —  his own brother Eugenio “Jun” Ynion Jr., saying that they should not be dragged into the mess Rommel has made for himself and that their brother is so hard-headed, he does not even listen to his own mother.

In the case of Mayor Jed Mabilog, one only has to go on Facebook and see many people, friends from way back, relatives, employees, etc. being rabid in their defense of the mayor and inspiring him to get on with his exemplary work but you could find no such thing in the case of Rommel Ynion. The saddest part is that even his own friends, family members, and media mercenaries snitch on him, emailing Adobo Ilonggo with snippets of damning information that details how evil Rommel Ynion is.

Digging him deeper into the trenches is none other than his “trusted” hatchet man and media mercenary Manuel “Kerida King” Mejorada whose name is on record at the BIR for providing information resulting into the 10-page dossier that is the basis of Commissioner Kim Henares for creating a Task Force to run after Rommel Ynion.

 

The Kerida King stands to earn several millions for providing information to the BIR last June 2011 – that is, if Mafioso Rommel Ynion does not have him shot at or bashed in the head like Lemuel Fernandez.
